Erica Chatting joined our staff here at Greenwood Physical Therapy in late January earlier this year. She is a graduate of Naugatuck Valley Community College where she earned her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Erica has over 10 years of experience helping people with various injuries and assisting them with recovery through her years as a Pilates instructor. She has taught clients at various ages with various injuries and comorbidities. After awhile Erica was eager to want to help her clients and others even more which lead her to pursue a career in physical therapy. Her passion and desire to combine her knowledge and love of Pilates with her physical therapy skills make her a unique and refreshing addition to our practice. "Pilates initially started out purely for rehab purposes. The two inexplicably go hand in hand and are interchangeable. I love that I get to pass on my passion for Pilates, but now I feel like I am a part of the whole rehab process from start to finish." Erica also holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Central Connecticut State University. She has attended many continuing education classes throughout her STOTT Pilates certification and looks forward to attending future courses for physical therapy as well.
